Desert Pediatrics is committed to providing a safe place for our patients to receive medial care and that includes well child care! It is important to stay up to date on well child checks, immunizations, and lab tests so that health problems can be avoided or caught early.
Our clinic has well-established protocols to ensure everyone’s safety while allowing us to care for your child, no matter if they’re being seen for an illness or for a well visit. Here are the details:
– In-person sick visits: we request family and patient to wear a medical mask
– Dr. Nguyen offer virtual visits (telemedicine) for same-day visits if an in-person visit is not possible
– Children who are at risk for COVID-19 will be evaluated via virtual visit or seen in our designated sick room with separated entrance. When you arrive, please call the office so that we may promptly escort you to the designated room. Please stay in your vehicle.
– We are screening all patients for sick symptoms, by phone when families make appointments, and upon arrival for well and sick visits.
– Patient rooms and medical equipment are carefully sanitized between every patient
